OACB Advocacy Chair Webinar to be held January 22

72 of Ohio’s 88 county boards of DD have identified a board member or volunteer to serve as Advocacy Chair throughout the upcoming legislative session.

All Advocacy Chairs received an announcement this week containing a link to register for the free, two-hour training session to be held on January 22 at 7 p.m.

The webinar training will show Advocacy Chairs the basics of advocating with local, state, and federal officials on behalf of county boards.  Advocacy Chairs will have opportunities to ask questions throughout the training.
