Hotel Information

The Hilton Columbus at Easton is offering reduced-rate rooms at $193 per night to attendees. As of October 23, however, the Hilton is full for the dates of the Convention. 
 
Please call or email Ann Neu if you need to cancel a room at the Hilton Easton. She maintains a waiting list for those who would like to purchase canceled rooms. If a room is canceled without contacting OACB first, it will be opened to the general public at the standard rate and will no longer be available for OACB members at the reduced rate.
 
A second block of reduced-rate rooms has been set aside at the nearby Holiday Inn Express and Suites on Sunbury Road. Rooms are available for a reduced rate of $159 per night for a single or $149 per night for a double. The room block will remain open until October 28. You can make a reservation by calling 614-476-1100 and using the group code "OACB."

Online registration through MemberConnect, OACB's member services portal, is the only way you will be able to register for this event. Once all space is full or the registration deadline has passed, registration will close and MemberConnect registration forms will no longer operate. Organizations interested in sponsorships can also host a Restaurant Dine-Around - new to the 34th Annual Convention! By becoming a Restaurant Dine-Around host, your organization is offering to treat a small group of Convention attendees to one round of appetizers and/or beverages at a nearby eatery of your choice.

Art & Product Day
 
Starting this year, the Art & Product Show will become Art & Product Day! On Thursday of the Convention, craftspeople and artists with developmental disabilities will display their wares side by side with other organizations in the Convention's Vendor Hall (located in the Easton Foyer between rooms used for breakout sessions).
 
This new format will give artists with developmental disabilities the chance to play a more active and visible role in the Convention's busiest day. It will also give attendees more time throughout the day to browse and find that perfect holiday gift! 

After sessions conclude on Thursday, attendees will be treated to a hospitality event in the Easton Foyer during Art & Product Day's final hour! It will be an excellent chance to relax, catch up with colleagues, and make final purchases from art vendors. There will no longer be a separate show in the ballroom as there has been at previous events.

Table booking for Art & Product Day is free. Lunch is included at no cost. The deadline to book a table is November 22 at 12 p.m. Questions about these changes or the new format should be directed to Ann Neu at aneu@oacbdd.org.
