Thursday Keynote: Kathy Parry
Kathy Parry is a recognized authority on personal energy, productivity, and resilience who helps professional leaders navigate change and create positive momentum. Before launching her speaking and training business, Kathy worked as a trainer on the merger and acquisition team for a super-regional bank, helping employees integrate new technology and navigate organizational transformation.
Kathy’s perspective on resilience was also shaped by her personal experience as the parent of a child with a disability. Her experiences as a parent and caregiver ultimately influenced her work with senior living and health care professionals and her focus on helping others prepare for and move through disruptive circumstances with greater resilience and energy.
Kathy holds degrees in business and food management from Miami University, a certificate in plant-based nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Program at eCornell University, and a QualityCare certification from the Alzheimer’s Association. She is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) through the National Speakers Association and speaks at events nationwide.
Kathy has authored six books, including Senior Living Power, and created the Power UP and Perform course for senior living professionals. She lives in Canton, Ohio, where she enjoys cooking for friends and a mild dark chocolate addiction.
