Kristi Klopfenstein

Auglaize County

Kristi Klopfenstein serves as a Trustee for the West Central Ohio region and is a board member of Auglaize DD. She is a dedicated advocate for inclusion and community engagement, bringing both leadership experience and personal perspective to her role.

Kristi also currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Chromosome 9p Minus Network, a nonprofit organization supporting families and individuals across the country. Her advocacy is deeply personal and community-focused, inspired by her 12-year-old daughter’s success and growth within her community.

Now in her sixth year as a County Board member and second year as an OACB Trustee, Kristi values the opportunity to engage in broader statewide conversations and collaborate with stakeholders to advance sustainable supports for individuals and families throughout Ohio.

In addition to her leadership roles, Kristi is active in her local church as a Catechist teacher and enjoys volunteering with community events alongside her children, including face painting to bring joy to others. Family is central to her life, and she enjoys riding and showing horses with her children and attending local high school football games on Friday nights.

Kristi’s areas of interest include public school systems, youth activities, employment and workforce opportunities, community engagement, and strengthening local events that bring people together.
