The Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to partner with the Richland County Board of Developmental Disabilities to bring an accessible trailer to this year’s Crawford County Fair, helping make one of our community’s favorite events more welcoming and inclusive.
The Accessible Trailer is designed to support individuals who need personal care assistance while away from home. It features an adult-sized changing table, a Hoyer lift, and a clean, private space where individuals can receive care with comfort, dignity and privacy. These features allow many people and their families to spend more time enjoying the fair without worrying about leaving early to meet personal care needs.
For easy access during the fair, which began Monday, the Accessible Trailer is located next to the Merchant and 4-H Building, making it convenient for fairgoers to stop by whenever needed.
Community events should be places where everyone has the opportunity to participate, connect with others, and create lasting memories. By working together, Crawford County DD and Richland County DD are helping remove barriers so more people can experience everything the fair has to offer, including exhibits, entertainment, delicious fair food, and time spent with family and friends.

Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities, located at 1630 E. Southern Ave., Suite 101, Bucyrus, serves and supports over 400 children and adults through Early Intervention, Fairway Preschool, public schools, community services, day programming, community employment and Special Olympics.
