Phill Kirk was appointed to fill the At-Large Statewide seat and currently serves on the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities, where he is the first board member who also receives services. He is also an Ohio Tech Ambassador, becoming the first representative from Licking County to serve in that role.
A dedicated advocate, Phill uses his voice to champion technology, direct support professionals, and people with developmental disabilities across Ohio. He testified at the Statehouse in 2023 in support of increased DSP wages and has advocated at the federal level in Washington, D.C.
Outside of his advocacy work, Phill serves on the board of the Licking County Aktion Club and is active in his church.
