Gwen Tinkle serves as a Trustee with the Ohio Association of County Boards and represents the At-Large Statewide region. A retired registered nurse, Gwen spent several years working with people with physical and developmental disabilities, an experience that continues to shape her dedication to the DD community.
She currently serves as President of the Darke County Board of Developmental Disabilities and has been a County Board member for eight years, with one year of service as an OACB Trustee. Gwen is committed to strengthening legislative advocacy efforts and helping boards navigate financial challenges in the years ahead.
In addition to her DD leadership, Gwen is President of her local library board and serves as secretary of her church. She enjoys reading, staying active in her community, and spending time with her family — firmly believing that retirement is just a word.
