Whitney Langston

Youth Supports Advisor

Whitney Langston serves as Youth Supports Advisor at OACB, where she provides guidance and technical assistance to Service and Support Administrators (SSAs) and county board school staff who support children with developmental disabilities and their families. She shares resources, consultation, and professional development opportunities to strengthen services across Ohio’s county boards.

Whitney joined OACB in July 2025 and has worked in the developmental disabilities field since 2006. She previously served as Childhood and Transition Services Manager at Auglaize DD, supervising youth and transition SSAs. Earlier in her career, she held roles with Mercer County Head Start, Logan DD, Champaign Residential Services, Inc. (CRSI), The Arc of Shelby County, and Shelby DD.

Whitney’s areas of focus include technical assistance, professional development, and cross-system collaboration. She holds a degree in Human Services from the University of the Cumberlands and is a Charting the LifeCourse Ambassador and certified Investigative Agent through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

She is motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families. Outside of work, Whitney enjoys kayaking the Great Miami River, caring for her collection of “misfit” animals — including a rooster, two cats, and a dog — and cheering on her two daughters in their many activities.
