Leia Snyder serves as Superintendent/CEO of the Hamilton County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services and represents Region 3 on the OACB Board of Trustees. Since stepping into her leadership role with Hamilton DD in 2020, she has guided the organization with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and strengthening supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
A former educator, Leia holds a B.A. in Education and English from Wilmington College and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Xavier University. She brings a strong background in leadership and systems improvement to her work at both the local and state levels.
Leia is also actively engaged in advancing the field through her service as President of the Ohio Association of Superintendents of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities, where she collaborates with peers to support effective leadership and service delivery across Ohio.
