Stark DD program to focus on youth with autism disorders

The Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities will host a family information series from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Cohen Room of Whipple-Dale Centre, 2950 Whipple Ave. NW.

The program, “Beyond the Self: How Neuroscience Can Help Create Connection and Harmony with Your Child,” will be presented by Jacquelyn Kraps, vice president and chief clinical officer of the Counseling Center of Wayne and Holmes counties.

The presentation is tailored to parents and caregivers of youth who have developmental delays, with a heavy focus on autism spectrum disorders.
