Executive Development ProgramThe OACB Executive Development Program is for professionals seeking leadership positions in the developmental disability service delivery system as well as those seeking to enhance the delivery of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Executive Development Program takes place every other year in even-numbered years. Classes for the next session of EDP will begin in January 2020 with one two-day unit taking place in Columbus each month from January to April and from August to November. No classes will be held in the months of May, June, or July to allow for attendance at other professional conferences as well as summer vacations. The registration deadline for EDP 2020 has passed.
Program Details Location: Columbus Airport Marriott, 1375 N. Cassady Ave., Columbus, OH 43219 (map) Dates: Jan. 6-7, Feb. 3-4, March 2-3, April 6-7, August 3-4, Sept. 14-15, Oct. 5-6, and Nov. 9-10. (All dates are Mondays and Tuesdays in 2020.) Hotel Reservations: Reduced-rate rooms are $159 per night. The Executive Development Program is being submitted for 112 hours in advanced curriculum for administrators in Ohio’s developmental disabilities service delivery system. Participants must attend the entire program to fulfill the requirements of the advanced curriculum as outlined in OAC 5123:2-5-03 (B)(2). In order to receive CPDUs, attendees must complete a session attendance record for each unit. Participants must attend the entire two-day unit to receive credit. No daily credit will be given for participants who leave sessions early.
