2019 Spring Conference General Information


The OACB 2019 Spring Conference will take place May 30-31 at the Hilton Columbus at Easton (3900 Chagrin Drive, Columbus)!

The theme for the 2019 Spring Conference is Service, and programming will focus on techniques that DD support professionals can use to re-center their efforts on the people and families they support.

The registration deadline for the Spring Conference has passed.

Registration is free for people with developmental disabilities and up to one accompanying caregiver per person.

New Lunch Options

Based on attendee feedback, OACB has changed our meal program for the 2019 Spring Conference to test three new concepts. These include:
  1. Buffet-style Meal Service;
  2. Lighter Food Options; and
  3. The Ability to "Opt Out" of Lunch Service.

Attendees will now be able to eat out at one of the many dozens of restaurants and fast-casual eateries in and around Easton Town Center during the lunch period without having to pay for the prepared meal in the Easton Ballroom. For those attendees who decide not to eat in the ballroom during lunch, individual registration fees will be credited $25 per day of attendance. Event Vendor Tables and Program Ads
Vendor tables and program ads will once again be offered at the Spring Conference. The deadline for reserving a program ad or vendor table has passed. If you have purchased a vendor table at the event and have questions in the week leading up to the event, please contact Ann Neu (aneu@oacbdd.org).
