Begining in January 2009, the OACB is pleased to offer a newly created AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP category. Please click on the link below to find a brochure that explains the benefits of AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP , as well as the dues to join the OACB.

The OACB has been in existence for 25 years. The sole purpose of the organization is to enhance the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in Ohio through training, technical assistance, communicating and lobbying on their behalf. We work on a daily basis with the 88 County Boards of DD in Ohio, as well as with members of the Ohio General Assembly, the Governor and the Ohio Department of DD to ensure that our state’s most vulnerable citizens have a voice at the Statehouse.

Through an AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP , OACB can provide: Continuing Education Credits (CECs) needed to renew provider licenses and other professional certificates; access to group health insurance; and, other benefits to qualified individuals and companies. The cost savings on required training alone is often equal to the dues amount, not to mention the timely access to information ans other services being offered. AFFILIATE MEMBERS will have immediate access to the latest news and reports on Ohio’s DD service system, as well trainings, technical assistance, legal assistance at a reduced cost, and access to the health insurance trust.

If you are interested in becoming an AFFILIATE MEMBERS, please complete and return the attached application via U.S. mail or email to membership@oacbdd.org.  An invoice for membership dues will be issued upon processing of your application.  Upon payment of your dues, you will receive a certificate of membership along with instructions on how to access AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP benefits.
