Lifetime Achievement Award

Presented by the OACB to a public official, board member or other individual who has a demonstrated throughout his or her professional lifetime a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.  This prestigious award has been presented only twice:

Award Winners:

2007 - Honorable George V. Voinovich, United States Senator; former Governor, State of Ohio; Commissioner, Cuyahoga County; former member of the Ohio General Assembly

1985 - Dr. Raymond Horn, Assistant Director, Ohio Department of Education, Division of Special Education; served on the Franklin County Board of DD and as a Trustee on the Ohio Association of County Boards
