Lori Stanfa
Lori Stanfa began her career in the DD field working as a direct care worker at a state developmental center while attending the University of Toledo. After graduation with a BA in social work, Lori was hired as a case manager for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities where she was part of the deinstitutionalization movement in Ohio. She moved on to supervise residential services for the Wood County Board of DD while attending evening law school at the University of Toledo.

In the early 1990s, Stanfa developed and operated the supported living program for the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities - Community Living Options - and was their first Executive Director. She became the Executive Director of the Clearwater Council of Governments (COG) in 1997 and led the COG until 2003 when she joined the OACB team.

Stanfa brings more 30 years experience to OACB in addition to being a licensed attorney. Her expertise includes Medicaid waivers, service and support administration, and program administration. She is available to provide technical assistance and training for board members and staff upon request.
